In this game, Nero (yellow) and Captain Mayhem (red) felt confident that they could defeat Xanthippus on his map "Xanthangumplus". Pictured is the Captain's first major offensive which broke through Xan's walls but at great cost thus allowing Xan's purple cavalry to counterattack the defenseless trebuchets

While Nero fiddled around and was able to get a couple of trebuchet shots off on Xan's wonder, Cpt. Mayhem kept penetrating deeper...only to be greeted by a multitude of fireballs from Xan's onagers & bombard towers from atop the wonder mound

Bert's desperate but lethal banzai attack with trebuchets almost destroyed Xan's Wonder with only seconds to spare. The closest game in recorded history but it was only the fact of Xan's genetically engineered intelligence that allowed him to survive

Not since Pearl Harbor has such treachery befallen the unprepared. Einsatzgruppen's town is in flames as Pattonicus' (Jezabel Boy) once defending bombard towers remove this annoyance from the face of the earth. Post-attack, Pattonicus was heard to gloat, "I only cut the throats of those who stick out their necks"

More of the treacherous Pattonicus (Jezabel Boy), pretending to ally with both Xanthippus and Einsatzgruppen while building dozens of bombard towers in each of their civilizations. Two clicks of the diplomacy button and, moments later, their entire civilizations lay in ruins

In an epic game which lasted until 4am, Anthrax and Mrs. Nimitz are devestating Xan's wonder. Xan's partner Herb Kilmer was dropped early but the remnant of his demolition ships remained vigilant as the enemy approached. The cunning Xan started a second wonder with his last villager, just to be an ass but Anth and Mrs. hunted him down like the evil dog he is
